Bastek and I were talking about Stellar Jays when she came to visit and we were driving around in the woods. I like drawing birds and people seem to like how I draw them, so I wanted to draw a Stellar Jay, they just look so cool.
So I named him X :3 I dunno what he will do as a character, just exist I guess. But I really like him. Also: IT ARE MY BIRTHDAY!  That is my favorite cat macro too... "Om nom nom" "Nooo it r my burthday"EDIT: A DD?? Cool! Thank you for the suggestion and the feature, I am glad people like it so much <3 Daily DeviationGiven 2009-06-15X by ~SilverPoot "It may just seem like a simple little character doodle of sorts, but with X, ~SilverPoot definitely shows off some true talent by uniquely converting a Stellar jay into one kickass anthro design, complete with a badass expression & pose, great anatomy, slick & eye-catching style, superb (& obviously appropriate) use of blue, & some awesome details from the texture to the tailfeather markings. We have a nesting pair of Steller's on the path i take to class every day. So many people hate these guys, but i just find them nothing short of charming and beautiful.
